This site was created to help raise funds for any expenses that Heather and Justin are going to incur as they begin Justin's road to recovery. There's a lot to do and a lot to recover from so Justin and Heather will need all the help and support they can - both emotionally and financially. Luckily, they both have great family and friends that are rooting them on and supporting them in any way they can.
On the evening of Sunday, May 30, 2010 Justin suffered a spinal cord injury while diving into the shallow water at Lake Conroe. Justin has 3 broken vertebrae in his neck and is currently in the hospital. With all of that said, Justin is one of the strongest and most positive people we know, and still manages to crack jokes with the nurses. He and Heather are truly genuine, caring people, and everyone who meets them, loves them! Justin and Heather's story is just beginning, they have a long road ahead of them, but they will get through this, and will be stronger in the end.
